Research, PowerPoints, & Presentations!
The students did an awesome job during the first two weeks of May using their creative ideas with PowerPoints. Each student had to research a topic of their choice. Then they used images, online resources, encyclopedias, and many other sources to identify facts about the topic to share in front of others.
The students learned how to use the computer as a tool to cut, copy, and apply images to a PowerPoint presentation. Music, sound, and transitions also added to the presentations and engaged the listeners. The grade for the project was worth 35 points. Each student used the rubric to guide their activity and dedicated much time practicing before presenting.
